Mother’s Day Feasts

by on May.08, 2011, under Posts

I had a very happy Mother’s Day – and when you are happy you naturally want to share your joy with others, don’t you? (Remember that “interconnectedness” of all humans that we discussed in the previous post?)  So let me make my day even more joyful by sharing it with you.

First of all – these beautiful roses of a strange purple color that I’ve never seen before (and that I suspect does not actually exist in nature, but still looks really cool). Here they are. Happy Mother’s Day!

Westcave Preserve grottoThen – an early morning walk in a beautiful jungle full of sunshine, colorful butterflies, singing birds, and 600-800 years old trees towards a natural grotto with dripping underground springs. You would never guess something like this exists in Texas, but it does. Just look at the pictures.

There is even a small cave the entrance of which, when you are inside, looks like a map of the USA Westcave Preserve cave view.

Now let’s come back home and have a nice breakfast prepared by my son Denis – quail eggs on a garlic toast, goat cheese and fruits.  Yum-m-m…

Now – off to a market day in the little town called Wimberly. It is a small Sedona, with the same type of energy. Arts, crafts, and music all over – even kids playing it. Just look at this cute duet of a very white girl playing violin and a very black boy playing a guitar.

Then – let’s go dance bolero and waltz, two most romantic dances known to mankind (I am learning  ballroom dance).

And now back home to a nice quiet evening with yet another beautiful meal prepared by my other boy Enoch (this 18-year old is a naturally born gourmet chef) – beef bourguignon with some freshly made vegetable French spread that I do not even know how to pronounce or spell…beef bourguignon dinner

God, it really felt like a non-stop feast – for the body and soul. All my children were pouring their love on me any way they could (even my cat Zena brought me a bird in the morning and a mouse at night; I have pictures too :-) ). I felt spoiled and happy.

I think we all deserve feasts once in a while.  We need to see and feel the abundance, the limitlessness… because life itself is abundant and limitless, especially when LOVE is concerned. We just need to be reminded of this fact sometimes.

And if you want to experience another type of abundance – come to the HealthBoss LIVE 6/11 event on June 3-5, 2011. We promise you a feast for your mind and your heart :-)   All Details HERE.

Happy Mother’s Day!
